The Palafavera campsite is situated in the high Val di Zoldo in the heart of the Dolomites, at 1514 metres above sea level. It is a huge natural park that extends over 50.000 mq with pitches for caravans and tents. Located in an enchanting setting below the Civetta mountain range, and the foot of the Pelmo Mountain - know as " Caregon del Padre Eterno" or the " Throne of God " to the local-, the area was designated a UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site in Juny 2009. The local area offers a wide variety of excursions, including refuges, mountain pastures and vie ferrate (climbing trails). It is part of the Civetta and Dolomites' Superski skiing zones and is equipped with a Nordic sky run of 7.5 km.
